Ariana Afghan Airlines Co. Ltd. is the national airline carrier of Afghanistan, based in Kabul. The airlines operate domestic and international passenger services. It is wholly owned by the Afghan government and its main base is Kabul International Airport.The airline is on the list of air carriers banned in the European Union, with the exception of one plane registered in France; a leased Airbus A321 which maintains a service to Germany.
